PTC Labs - Customer Service

Paternity Testing Corporation strives to provide the highest level of customer service in the United States. This begins with the care taken to schedule your appointments at convenient places and times and continues all of the way through supporting your attorney or case manager through using your test results for legal purposes (see Legal Support).

We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. central time, Monday through Friday. We are open and have people available at hours that are convenient to you. With the exception of a weekly one-hour staff meeting, during business hours our telephones are answered by our staff, and not by machines providing menus to choose from. Someone is able to help you right away.

Our staff cares a great deal about your individual situation. They will be happy to speak to you at length, and to provide guidance on your specific facts.

One thing you will notice while talking to paternity laboratories is that often the person who answers the telephone does not know very much except how to set up a test and take your money, and it is difficult to get to talk to someone who has more information. At PTC our Client Service Representatives receive extensive training regarding all aspects of the paternity testing services that PTC provides. The individuals you speak to will be well informed and helpful. If you have particular questions that exceed their knowledge, they will be happy to refer you to another staff person with that particular expertise, or find the answers and call you back.

We are happy to answer questions about testing both before and after you obtain your test. If you have questions about the test you receive from us, we will be happy to spend time with you to discuss all aspects of your test results. If you have had a test performed elsewhere and are not satisfied with the answers you have received from that facility, we are willing to discuss that test with you as well.

You will find our staff extremely helpful. No question is too trivial or too complicated for us to spend the time with you to explain the answer.

We also complete your test quickly. Normally your test will be ready to send out three business days after the day we receive your specimens. Specimens collected in the U.S. are shipped to us for receipt the next business day following the day they are picked up from the specimen collection site. For example, if your specimens are collected early on a Monday, we receive them on Tuesday, and the test would normally be ready to send out by the end of business on Friday.
